Current specification sheets.
Weatherised option — stainless hardware, sealed grille, IP65 connectors and enclosure. Standard cabinets are IP55; all models run from −20 °C to +50 °C.
02
Specification text per model.
Corrected by EDC, September 2026. All nine models are covered, every clause states matching transducer, amplifier and DSP-channel counts, and the steering range (1°–120°) and off-axis rejection (20 dB) match EDC’s published figures.
Same text as the Word document above, for reading and issuing. Specify from the Word version so you can edit the clause.

Drawings for brackets, hang configurations and mounting points.
04
The iOS application guide, and the full network control protocol specification.
The full packet-level specification — UDP framing, the command set, CRC8, global and preset objects, the EEPROM map, signal monitoring, status data and FIR deployment. Free to implement; no licence or NDA. Two things to know before you read it: it was last revised in December 2019 and documents firmware 1.2.5 onwards, and its device-identity table uses EDC’s older internal model names — the current names are SC-30, SC-60, SC-90 and SQ-90. Confirm current-firmware behaviour with EDC before shipping a product.
05
How to get loudspeaker data for EASE data for a software defined loudspeaker.
EDC does not publish a fixed GLL library. A software-defined cabinet has an effectively unlimited number of dispersion patterns, so a handful of pre-baked ones would not describe the system you are designing. Design the coverage in the Pro or Rapid App and export 3D balloon data per beam and per array for EASE.

STEP solids for every cabinet, ready to import.
07
Where EDC stands on certification, and what it can supply.
A monitored version of every model is built for EN 54 and EN 60849 voice-alarm systems, but the loudspeakers are not separately certified — voice-alarm approval is granted to the installed system through system certification. EDC Acoustics products are compliant with EN 54 and EN 60849 and ready to be included in EN 54 and EN 60849 system certification. Algorithmic redundancy built into the 3D beamforming loudspeakers provides resilience in meeting SPL and STI requirements even in the event of some amplifier or driver failures.
08
Terms and RMA process.
Five years on passive loudspeakers, three years on the non-electronic components of powered loudspeakers, one year on electronic components, from date of shipment. Every S-Series model is powered, so the three-year and one-year terms apply. An RMA is required before returning anything, and access, removal and re-commissioning costs are not covered.
