The brief

Problem

  • Several loudspeakers pointed in different directions
  • Balcony above and below to cover
  • Echo and poor presence

Solution

All existing loudspeakers replaced by a pair of SQ-90 and a single SS-3 for low-frequency warmth. Internal beam steering covers the floor, above and below the balcony, from one position.

Outcome

  • Present, near-field sound in an ambient room
  • Full engagement through the service — no craning for clarity
